I want to buy Organic Chick feed, but they don't let you see the contact info of the drop coordinator until you check out your order and pay for it. I am not about to input my card number just to find out I can't get there when the drop is. I may not be available to pick it up... But I can't find organic starter feed anywhere else (except the tiny expensive bags) and AS only does one drop a month. I really really hope someone from MI might be able to help!

If you can order $550 worth (I think that is how much it was) they will make you a drop spot all on your own, and you don't have to agree to be responsible for other people's food drops if they decide to order it for when yours is delivered.

You would thus be your own coordinator. I did that and it works well. I probably only order anything once a year anymore. But I have been pleased with their quality!

It of course depends on your location, if you are near their drop route or a major freeway, I think.

I wish I could order that much, but couldn't do that for awhile. Chicks are coming next week :-(

Just call azure directly. They can tell you where and when the drop(s) near you are. Then you can decide if it is worth it to you. Sometimes the drop locations are very public locations, like a parking lot. Other drop locations are more private, such as someone's driveway. Depending on the drop location, the driver may be willing to leave your items unattended, if you can't be there at the time of the drop. Also, in our case, we pay a small delivery fee directly to the driver, usually $7-$11.

It's less convenient than simply going to a store, but azure's selection and prices are excellent.

I know quite a bit about them. I almost set up a drop here, but thankfully realized that was too much work. I have emailed them asking for the coordinators info. The drop is in Detroit, literally, and would not be ok to leave stuff unattended. I don't have the ability to just hop in the car and go as I baby sit. They told me previously they don't know exact days and times until a day or two before the drop. Was just trying to hook up with someone local to get started.
