Can b/b/s silkies be put together with paints and still have true colors? Thanx!

Define "true colour."

Each parent contributes genes to the offspring. We can predict what genes black, blue or splash will contribute, but paint is still a work in progress, with a lot of genetic unknowns.

I can tell you that you have the liklihood of hatching normal paints and blue paints, but you also have the liklihood of hatching blacks, blues and splashes. What I cannot tell you is how the offspring of the black, blue and splash offspring (F2 generation) may differ from those that have not come from a paint background.
