[Oncoming Storm]

So like...I’ve had a hen hatch before and this is probably one of a thousand threads like this BUT my astrolorp hen just hatched her first egg today. I found it once checking on her. It was soooo small like it hatched early that day. We have quite a few Roos around the property so it’s almost impossible to know whodunit. But the funny thing is I idly joked about wouldn’t it be cool if one of them was from one of the turken roosters? Well...IT IS. IT IS SO CUTE AND I LOVE IT TO DEATH. Penny was also super nice and let me pick it up without murdering me. It’s also kind of special because today is my birthday.

The only other home grown bird we have is a rooster we have to keep in a cage because he keeps trying to kill his dad :/
