(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I would consider myself new yes, but I have had chickens for almost 2 years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 3 roosters(one being culled soon) and 8 hens. I have some babies in incubators!!
(3) What breeds do you have?
They are all mixes, I have tried to identify previously and thats a large rabbit hole.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The eggs and watching the birds. I like being outside and I was to be self sustained one day.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I want to train dogs, and I love modifying my jeep, or upgrading my house.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 older dogs, they are AKC good citizen trained and my pit mix was a therapy dog, prior to moving to Guam. I have a husband and a son, we move a lot and have a very demanding career. It will be a while until we really settle somewhere.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this while googling about my roosters issues. I signed up, I also am on the FB page.
