So I let them swim today. They didn't really know what to think of being in the water, and didn't really swim, maybe I didn't have enough water in for them to actually swim? But after a little while they did start "grooming" themselves and each other and walked around so I think they still loved it. Maybe next time I will put in a little bit more water.

I tell you it is more fun in the bathtub, because there is a shallow and deeper end. They will have more fun with each time the get into the warm water. The water does also stimulate the preen gland and it will produce the oil sooner then without swimming. They also learn to preen themselves when they do get wet. Nothing more fun then being a baby duck.
