Hi! I live in Michigan, and have adopted four baby isa browns. They are just over a week old now. Temperatures will really start to drop drastically in October. Will they be ready to survive a winter in the coop? Should I keep them in my garage? Or my basement? I have two other ladies already in the coop. I lost a hen to frostbite a few years ago, so I’m very nervous.

Hi there. They should be fully feathered by then. As long as you have good ventilation in the coop to prevent frostbite they should be ok.
