I ordered 11 females from Metzer's and got 14 ducklings! Why, I do not know. They are sexed but some have white bands and some have black... what do they mean and how do I remove them?

Awww! I would like to know how to get the bands off, too, as they grow really fast. I think there's something on the Metzer website telling you how to do it.

Black means boy, white means girl-or vice versa, cant remember. There is a color band chart on the Metzer website.The chart will also indicate the breed for those color bands. I got mine off with fingernail clippers...
