Babies hatched in the Double Boiler

I found myself in a jam the other night with a huge storm raging and chicks hatching during a power outage. I left them alone for 1 1/2 hours but then decided it was getting way to cold inside the incubator. I could think of nothing else I could use with candles so I rigged up a little hatcher for the 5 eggs I had hatching. One chick was out already and two had good sized pips. The other two turned out to be quitters.

I would have said "No wayyyyyy!" but then someone has hatched eggs in their bra, so nothing surprises me anymore! LOL

That was rather quick thinking on your part! I probably would have never thought of something like that.
