ok I accidentally bought some babies at the feed store... oops! I already have 15 standard (5 salmon Faverolles, 5 light Brahmas, 5 speckled sussex) on the way but I couldn't pass on the bantams at the Big R. They are from Ideal but I'm not sure what they are or what color they will be. I know that 3 of them are Silkies ( the ones with black legs and 5 toes) but I'm not sure what the other 2 are. They only have 4 toes but have feathers on the legs. One looks like it will be white. Any help on gender, color or breed would be much appreciated! Thanks

Could possibly be cochins. Especially the white one. Not sure about the darker one though. They ARE cute though whatever they are!!

the feather legged first one looks alot like my chicks that i have no idea what they are, im leaning towards silver laced cochins, but who knows. look at mine and see what you think, are they the same. i hope you get an id!

#1 Blue Cochin

#2 Does not look Cochiny to me, other than legs and the feathers on a cochin should cover the outside toe.

#3 (Silkie) Partridge or Buff , no idea on gender

#4 Blue Silkie

Thanks and ours do look alike. I really hope it's a Cochin and silver laced would be pretty. I don't care much what color it will turn out but I am just so impatient I want to know now! And Jeaucamon thanks for saying they are cute! I think they are but I'm a bias mother

this is my guess, but I could be wrong -

first 2 are Cochins

1st one is a blue cochin and 2nd one is a white cochin

3rd one could be a partridge silkie

4th one a blue silkie
