Our little eight week old feater footed bantams went out to coop. We finished the coop up today and we moved out chicks out. We were so happy and they seemed happy too. Up until now they were in the bathroom.

This was their first real day outside!

They seemed to be really enjoying themselves. At around 8:15 we put them in the coop and shut the door so they'd stay in there. And they start chirping and settled down. Everything was extremely peaceful!

But now we were just hit with the biggest storm in a couple of months. Thunder lighting, heavy rain, the works! I bet that they're so scared.

Any advice to a new mommy who is worried about her babies?

It's tougher on us than the chicks!

I think I went out 4 or 5 times the night mine went out. They were fine. You will be too.

Yeah, after mine went out I was sure I heard them peeping from the bedroom. I would catch myself getting up to go check on them.
