Baby Acona ducks

I got my babies at 2 days old. They are now just over 3 weeks and starting to change colour, but their tail feathers are really starting to look bad. Is this normal for a baby duck trying to get it's adult feathers?

Yes...That's Normal tail growth..Cute little tails.

They’ll soon have little pokies all over! Ducks are so awkward as they age. Haha

Yes, completely normal. Almost the same thing happens to chicks too!

Lol....So cute. They are scared..Gingerbread man stage..Perfect timing at Christmas...Soon they will settle down...Congrats they are Beauiful ....

Just a tip....Its too wet in there...Ice cream pails with a hole cut in the lid for drinking helps keep things dry..Wet Ducklings are cold Ducklings and remove the bath pan too..
