Baby bantam bit by dog. Now being rejected.

Hi. Long story short, this chick was bit by the neighbors dog and now her parents are rejecting her. Both of them pecked and stepped on her, as well as ignoring her entirely, especially when she cries. I'm keeping her inside at the moment. She seems ok just very dazed and tired. Struggling to walk and only wants to sleep. Can someone please tell me her chances of survival after this? I put stuff on the bite wound. I feel horrible.

Looks like you treated it well and she has a good chance of survival. Inside is probably best for her. Just keep her in a warm area and make sure she’s eating and drinking. Some electrolytes (sav-a-chick) or nutridrench may be beneficial as well for her recovery
