Baby chick a turkey?

I have 3 wk old chickies, and one is HUGE. I got them as a mixed straight run @ TSC.
Her/his feet are huge, body is about 4 times the size of the other chicks (maybe RIR's).
My goodness he's huge. His feathers are coming in way slower. And just noticed today that his/her peep sound is sounding unlike any chicks we've had.

Does he/she have a little pimple like looking thing above its eyes? If so, you've got a turkey....

my baby turkeys have a tiny nose horn right above the beak... like a soft horn... small... and their eyes are kind of strange, and their beaks are much bigger than my chick's beaks.

I don't see pimple thingys above the eyes. The horn thingy (if it's attached to the top of the beak, then yes maybe). Laptop is down, old desktop is not agreeing with the camera, will try again tomorrow.

If it's towards the end of the beak, that would be the egg tooth. If it's a soft "horn/pimple" closer to between the eyes that would be the one they're refuring to. Picture would help.

Without a pic, and all of the other info., it sounds like maybe you got a meatie...but I didn't even think that TSC had meaties! My meaties feathers always come in slower but man do they grow fast! It doesn't sound like a turkey-the pimple looking thing I'm talking about would be an obvious feature on the bird. My guess is a meatie at this point.

Oh, nope, she/he has a definite little crest, not a pimple. Must be a meatie. Will try to get pics later. What a beast that bird is, dwarfs the others.
