Ducks and Geese like to swim and play in water.
Many kinds of wild birds like bird-baths (or puddles of water.)
Chickens are just weird, and prefer to stay dry.

Only 4 we are starting small on our flock I thought that because it is so hot outside here that maybe it would be good for them to cool down.
