Let me start off with I'm in in no way prepared to house chickens I realize this now, I deeply regret that this little chick is suffering because of it
I have no idea how old it is only that it has normal feathers but downy on her face still fits in my hands size wise (I didn't purchase but due to a death in the family I was watching them for my mother who is in Missouri now)
A couple hours ago she was dragged by one wing by a rat, I know that she lost about a tablespoon of blood by the looks of it? The wing does not droop but I'm worried looking for further injury underneath is more harmful? I don't have the resources to take her to a vet right away so they're all inside now as I am too scared to let them out now obviously, is it blood loss or infection that is going to be the biggest worry? She's eating and drinking still
She has electrolyte and vitamins in her water now because I asked at a local feed shop what to do 😭 will a vet at least give her pain medication? I'm scrambling to see where the nearest one to me that takes poultry is any suggestions would be hugely appreciated

Infection is definitely a huge risk. I know this might sound kind of stereotyped, but disease is also another concern, although infection would be the first problem.
How is the chick acting? Is the injury bandaged or scabbed? If it's scabbed, does the dried blood look miscolored, like yellowish or brown? I would treat it for infection right away, especially if it is bleeding as much as it is, you don't want bacteria to get into her bloodstream. Bluecoat is best for poultry infections/injuries. Human remedies that are generally used for light scratches should be okay, as long as it's in moderation and they are light.
Treat for infection no matter what color the wound is, rats are such nasty things.
