I ordered chicks for the first time from mcmurray. I ordered 2 ameracaunas. I know they are easter eggers. But after I've had them for a week and they are starting to feather, one has only one wing and a nub for the other. Does anyone have any experience with this? It's definitely a birth defect. I don't blame mcmurray because it took me a week to notice and I was holding her daily.

She is pretty squirmy but this is the best I can do :)
Looks like she has wing feathers on only one side so far.
She's still a very small chick and has plenty of time to get wing feathers on the other side.

I hope so. I have some mean hens and I worry they will bully her when I integrate them

Some of her feathers came in but the wing is deformed. It is growing across her body
