Baby chick chokes on another's air sac **Heartbroken**

At 4 a.m., one of my chicks hatched. This afternoon, I'm watching another one hatch with giddy glee. I'm video'ing the whole thing on my phone. I see the one who hatched last night pick off something of the newly hatched. I watched in horror as she started to choke. I've been told not to open incubator during hatching. I did nothing until after the baby chick fell over. She did not survive. She choked to death. Has this happened to anyone else? I am mortified that I didn't step in earlier. Now I don't know if all the others are going to die. There wasn't a drop in temp or humidity.
