Baby chick Crop problems - advice?!????

I think that the feathers just cover up the full crops more and you don't notice it. Like I said, all of my chicks have huge crops, so big that they do look like they are going to the right side of the chicks body.

Thank you! I was starting to freak out. Thought all my chicks had somehow gotten some nasty bacteria that was making their chest expand. Or they had a damaged respiratory system. Ha ha.
When should I worry?
I’ve let them all play in the dirt (4 months old) and they ate a lot of dirt. Does that cover the need for grit?
