Sure...you can offer food too just don't force anything. It's very easy to force stuff down the wrong spot in a chicks mouth and that's a for sure way to kill them.

I am afraid to make it hotter because I heard that they will literally cook themselves

At two weeks old...I have my chick outside with no added heat.

Had to cull her this morning, she wasn't strong enough to even hold her own head up. Thank you guys for all of your help
