That's very sad, and it's really hard - speaking from experience - to try to help a little critter that for no fault of its own had such a thing. But you gave it care and love and it had a more pleasant life with you. Bless you both!
I wonder if it began its life as twins? I read where a partially-absorbed conjoined twin can cause such a thing.

Aww no!! So sorry for your loss!!

I am glad that you were able to adopt her and give her a good life her last few days though. I am not sure many others would have bought her and she might have ended up dying in pain that store and/or being picked on. At least you gave her a good life and tried to help her even if it was only for a few days. Glad she at least got to experience a little bit of kindness with you guys.
