Baby Chick Help!!!!!

so one of my eggs have just hatch but the chick seems to have something wrong with it. its like some of its insides are popping out its bum...
any advice please x

I just hatched 31 chicks & one had the guts hanging out but didn't make it.

It may just be the yolk sac...it should absorb after awhile.

Neosporin -- it's an antibiotic ointment that humans use. You'll find it in the first-aid section of your supermarket or pharmacy. White and orange tube with teal lettering, usually. Bactrin also works. You might want to carefully examine that chick's vent, take a soft damp cloth and see, with gentle wiping, if it is indeed the remnants of the yolk sac or if it's the bird's entrails. If it's actually organs that are prolapsed and outside the chick, you'll have to make some hard choices, especially as the other chicks get older and start pecking at those interestingly colored, hanging out parts. Sorry.

My last hatch had a chick with entrails hanging out. I had to cull it.
