I have 2 young little chicks that just hatched and I have been watching them jump, and flop around. I have noticed one of the babies looks to have a leg deformity. It almost looks like he cant bend it at the hock? The other one seems just fine what can I do? Should I take a picture, they are just about dry now.

Stuck straight out like in a resting position, the other leg looks ok but this one just looks off.

You probably should cull it. I had the same problem with one of my chicks. His name was Kia (Kī). He lived to be three months old. I made a hobble for him but it didn't work. Could you post a picture? It may be sprayed leg and that is fixable.

Here are a few pictures I could get. Its so dark now my camera is like not having it. When he sits on my hand his little leg sticks straight out.
