For the past two days one of my chicks seem to be a little sluggish. I come out to my garage where I have my brooder and call the chicks and they jump up and run to the side of the cage to see what I got for them. Been feeding the pill bugs:) The other two chicks I have eat them up but the "sick" one will just run up to them and hit them a few times then give up.

For two days now this little "sick" chick will not get up and move around tell later in the day. I have been taking them outside for the past two days to get them used to the outdoors and they seem to love it. I made a video if you guys want me to post.

What do I need to look for to see if she is sick? What info can I give you guys to guide me to help this little chick? Please keep in mind I want to keep her diet organic with no-GMO's and all natural cures:) I will do what I have to do to save her life.

Thanks and God Bless!!

I found when my chick was lethargic that a little sugar and water mix helps to boost them up.:)

I tried putting her beek in the water and she took one drink and stopped:( Put her in front of the food and she took one bite then stopped:(

Something's wrong with her!

She is just sleeping. She looks like she wants to get up at times but then she remembers she is sick. At least that is the look she is giving off to me:(

Here is there 1st day out:

I get a syringe for mine and syringe them the sugared water every hour if they look lethargic. By syringe I mean the ones without a needle, or a point. I got mine from a chemist when I bought the childrens nurofen for my daughter and that syringe was inside to administer the medicine.

If she's sick will sugar water help her heal or will it just make he feel better for a short time? I would really like to find out if she is sick so I can take some steps to helping her heal:)

Sugared water will only boost her up and give her the energy to feed and play etc. I find chicks get lethargic and I use sugared water when there are no underlying problems. If the concern is that she has something wrong with her, then the sugared water wont cure her. It will just give her the appetite to get up and go like the others. Sorry can't be of more help, someone will post something to help I'm sure.

I really think she is sick:( Don't get me wrong, I am totally thankful for your help:)

Is there a vet you could take her to? If it's catching, then you don't want your other chicks to get it. Have you checked that it's vent is clear?

Can't afford a vet. That is why I am on here asking for help:) I think I will just try what you said because no one else on here seems to know about how to help:) I just checked it and it seems clear. She is pooping good and at night she runs around like crazy! Maybe she likes the night life? She likes to boogie? LoL!!

I put her beek into the water yesterday and today she seems more alive! Maybe she lost the water?
