Hi Everyone!

I have one baby out today and another egg has pipped....the chick that is out has pecked off the shell around the pipped egg...I can see a hole in the membrane but don't know what to do from here the egg pipped around midnight last night....I have another egg that is literally cracked but not pipped and I can see a few threads of fuzz flowing thru the shell the chick is pecking at that as well.

i have a few eggs rocking so I know we are going to have a few more hatch....we are on day 22

My question is will this pipped egg hatch??? How about the one that is cracked??? and should I take out the live chick that seems to be pecking at any thing that moves....she does seem a bit stressed all alone in there... my humidity is around 65 it went up to 75 when the first baby was hatched....

Once the chick is dry, you can move it to the brooder. As for the other eggs, just wait and see, usually they are fine. Not sure about the one that is totally cracked with no pip.

I know not to open the incubator....but I think I am going to move the chick out....I can see a little bit of blood on the one with the pip...she is probally picking at that.....waiting is the hardest part of this process

I took the little girl out.. she is settling in the brooder very nicely....I hear peeping everyonce and a while from the incubator.. guess things are still going good in there too. Still wondering about the cracked egg and if it will hatch....
