They hatched July 18, here they are on the 21st I think.




A week or so old...



and now, this was my only marans that hatched. Her? name is Furball. Still can't decide on gender.



Hank, my only roo. They are 9 weeks old. Sometimes they roost, sometimes they still pile up in the nest box

The others are EE mixes and all have the muffs and beards. I love their fluffy faces!

Those chicks are so cute, we have a chick like the ones in your first and second pics could i ask what breed they are? as this is our first hatch and we've got a bit confused along the way keeping track of which ones are which despite the eggs being labelled.

4 week old chicks discovering the outdoors for the first time. It was hilarious watching them. I put them out at about 4 p.m but not all of them went back in. We had 6 of 14 still outside. Suggestions? Thanks. They are so cute.

Here are my babies on a field trip to the back yard. They are not quite 2 weeks old, but it was over 90 out, so outside with the little poopers for a bit.

We hatched them, and are madly in love.

I started off with six silkie chicks from mpc within a day or two 3 died the three healthiest lived the biggest named zoey had a little poop stuck to her vent area another one walked up while I was watching and pulled off the poo zoey peeped like she was in pain and her vent started to bleed it has slowed now and she is acting normal running around eating drinking but I'm really worried what do I do!!!!

Looks like she had pasty butt....just for future reference don’t pull the poo off anymore because I read you can actually pull out it’s intestines.I also heard that time is the best kind of medicine for this kind of problem.Hope I helped and good luck with your chick.I will keep my fingers crossed
