Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

Your last little chick looks like my Golden Laced Wyandotte - could also possibly be a Sussex... maybe some others will comment as well.
That sounds cool! I really wish I had gotten more than the one. I'm trying to avoid chicken math, though. So tempting and I would end up with too many in no time, I know.

Here's a couple quick snapshots of my GLW and SS. The next photo is of EE's (not actually true Americaunas). The white "owl" looking one turned out to be a rooster and the other is now laying her first greenish/blue eggs. The last picture is the EE hen now.

Here are some not so great pictures, but does anyone happen to know what these chicks are? They were in an assorted red pullet bin, that were all the same...so not much of an assortment. I am assuming they are red sexlinks...All I know is they are the most friendly little cutie patooties of the whole bunch. They are also smaller than all the other chicks of the same age. There isn't anything wrong with them, as they are both the same size...but they are smaller than the others, leghorns, EEs and Buff Orpingtons...the orps are the largest of course, unless you count the meat birds...because the meaties look like small basket balls.

Omg I forgot the pictures...

Here are some other pics of the leghorn chicks and a meat birds when they were just a few days old..They look much different now of course. We got them on the 6th and 7th so they are a good bit older now...or in chicken terms, way different looking. You guys know how these little things grow.
Yup, Those first girls look like red sex links. They may be golden sex links, but that's almost the same thing, and is the same thing sometimes.

These were supposed to be 3 week old buff orpingtons. I am now wondering if they mixed up and gave us red or gold sex links... opinions?

So we went back to Tractor Supply today and I spoke with an employee who knew a lot about their chicks. The little brown stripey chick is an Easter Egger. Also found out that the 2 cream-colored Gold Sex Links are almost definitely roosters. Oops! The sign was rather confusing to me. Apparently they were straight run and the darker ones are the hens.

The 3rd cream-colored chick I got out of the pullet bin and I assumed it was GSL too, since she looked just like the other 2. But we now think she is going to be white. She is also smaller already than the 2 probable-GSL-roosters.

I am still kicking myself for only getting one EE. They are getting more in on Wednesday, so we are going to see if we can get some more EE's. Since I'll have to rehome the 2 roosters, I'd like to get 1 or 2 more EE's and possibly one more bantam. I'll have to get 6, so I'm looking for someone to split an order with me.

Also, the bantam turns out to be a silkie. :)

Thanks for the input!
