So, my chicks are not babies anymore but I had to share pics of Baby Cochin (cochin/silkie cross). The name makes it very easy to know who we're referring to. Lol
Can you believe this little thing is nearly 8 weeks old? What can't be seen in these pictures are those adorable fluffy feet. I'll get some more photos soon. Too cute! :)

double mm my hen looks like your boy- I thought it was a roo till it laid an egg. it used to beat me up, then I realized she wanted attention.

Couldn't tell you what the mother was (d'Uccle, d'Uccle mix, or sexlink), but dad is a red Cochin.

Silkie mix mutts.

d'Uccle chicks.

Mottled? Cochin.

Black Cochins.

Barred Cochins.

Silver and Golden Sebrights.

BBW? turkey.

RIR?

I got this and one other baby from my local feed store in a brooder labeled assorted bantam. I haven't had the best luck with other birds I purchased in the past from TSC and this place actually has classes on raising backyard flocks so I trust they sell decent quality animals. I live in Indiana in the country so I'm sure they are a cold/heat hardy breed. He looks like a smaller version of my baby barred rock hens with less white and no smudge of white/yellow on its head.

Someone thought this was an EE but his legs are flesh colored and he doesn't have puffy cheeks. Could he be something else?
