Our chick Lucky, the only one who made it. She is 5 days old now She looks just like an SS chick except she is more red. She is a Speckled Sussex/ Red Sexlink.

She will have a few Silkie friends in a week

Well, I guess I never announced.... my POLISH hen went broody a few weeks agol we were amazed because they never do. She successfully hatched both of her eggs and they ended up a male and female! We are so happy!

We have 18 chicks... first time chick mom here! 10 Barred Rocks, 6 Silver Laced Wyandottes, A Buff Orphington, and a Speckled Sussex.
