Three weeks ago, my flock suffered a devastating dog attack. I lost 16 birds, including our alpha rooster Gryffindor and 6 hens. In response, I took all of the eggs I collected that day and put them in the incubator. A few days ago, they started to hatch. I now have 14 beautiful new babies in my flock.

Today I got some silkie chicks!! they are only a couple days old.

We currently have a few silkie babies running around here and a few outside for sale, 3 bators full of eggs(silkies, sultans, polish) as we prep for spring poultry swap!! and these are our crop of Sultan/Polish mixes...There is a pure Polish in there somewhere...

Ok so I lost all but 2 chickens

. Going to get more next wk. my question is I LOVE EE's should I just stay with them or could I get a variety?
