These are my GL Wyndottes If you can sex them that be great these are my darkest and lightest! all 25 are various shades in between!

Way way to young to sex. They need to be about 12 weeks or so with wyandottes to even guess at sex. Very cute chicks by the way.

I heard it was hard but there are a lot of chicken wise people here, when the time does come what should i be looking for? a thickness to the comb or a certain coloring? im very new to this breed.

With my chicks the males started to out grow the pullets, the boys tend to get tick legs sooner, the combs get thicker and reder, and my boys started to so boyish attitudes. Standing taller, and strutting. I was able to start making good guesses around 4 to 5 weeks. They say as chicks under 3 days old a good guess for pullets is slightly longer wing feathers....

Yes those chunky rooster legs and that cockerel attitude are good indicators.

Can y'all help me sex this chick. 4 weeks old.. Buff cochin.... I'm praying for a pullet and I'm thinking pullet. But I'd like other opinions!
