I just got back from a 2hr drive and I picked up 10 more birds.. 1 Bantam Silkie, 4 Buff Orphingtons, 3 Coturnix Quails, and 2 Red something (I forget the name. lol) Now the total is 16 }

I want to say 10 days? It was hard for me to pay attention to much of what was being said as I had my kids with me (10 & 3) and having 2 city children on a farm with all types of animals is like disneyland to them .. LOL

I just hope we have 95-99% hens.. }:/

They are actually New Hampshire Reds 14 days old today.

This little one is adorable. What is this mixed with, it isn't a pure silkie. Looks like it could be a EE mixed with a silkie..which I actually have some in my bator now, and am wondering how they will turn out..if like this..I'll love them!!
