Got my chicks this morning. 26 for the meat pen. 7 dorkings, 2 NN, and a mystery chick as well. Now time to play everyone's favorite game... GUESS THE CHICK! What do you all think my mystery chick is?

I'm brand new, but the mystery chick looks like some kind of Polish with that pom pom looking head. At least they look like the ones from the breeder that I picked up some chicks from.

I'm pretty familiar with bard rock chicks and I think that the mystery chick is part bard rock but has a cross of another very feathered bread mixed into it. It could be part silky or part polish but it looks too buff for polish because they are very slim birds.

Only time will tell. It was supposed to be a rare breed mystery chick. So who knows. As far as being too buff for a polish, well it is a hatchery chick so anything is possible.
