My chicks first night outside with the ducks they had a practice night in a small kennel, just to transition them to be used to each other.

6 weeks today and I'm amazed at how fast they are growing and how different the fuzzier two are from the chunky two. I'm proud of my big girls!

Here are 5 of the 6 that hatched so far. everyone is moving hard to take pic. # 7 is almost out, and 8,9,10 are still due tomorrow. well all were due tomorrow.

They're not her babies, the real mother wouldn't go to set so she took over.

And this one is my buddy. He can't be left alone with the others right now because he's a pecker. He goes straight for the tail feathers. Named him Dick. He's about 5 or so weeks old

I'm guessing this the same chick? What breed is that cutie? Looks a lot like my little Faverolle 

Good eye! She's a Salmon Faverolle. I got two of them and they are just the sweetest!

6 out- #7 is almost out, the last 3 due look delayed... but due today.
