had to take a better pic of the girls.

I wonder how long till i can join the. To the other 2 on the coop.

Here i was worried if my 3 foot wide roosting rod in the tractor coop would be enough for the girls as i am getting ready to move them out there full time.
And then i catch this scene in the dog kennel bRooder they have been in the past few weeks (2ft wide)

Too funny! My coop is 40" wide and we have a 2 x 4 on the flat side for a roost. All three hens take up about 15" of roost space, the rest empty! At least all the poo is on one side though.

Here is a better pic of my new arrivals, the one up front is a cross between a Golden Buff hen and a Buckeye roo, the other 5 are full Buckeye. They all hatched on Sunday, day 19.

Two eggs didn't make it, one never started and the other was an early quitter

these are some of the new additions I'm adding to my flock

Also can anyone post pics of lavender chicks a never seen them in real life but I'm looking for the all over?

Just moved The Fancy (silkie cochin) in with my 3 Ameraucana's, Beardless, Brimstone and Snickers. They straight up didn't care about each other. I'm like really?.. cool :). Until it was time for food... don't eat The Fancys food... just don't. Gonna see if I can get a picture.
