Baby Chick Pictures!!!!! POST!

Super sad day. I did my morning routine. Fed all of the animals and made sure they were all okay. Got home from work to take care of the chickens and all 18 out of the 18 we got were all good. Then went to check on the 5 ducks that we had. 1 of them is dead, and have no clue why. The brooder at the far end sits at 61 degrees. Right under the heat lamp
It sits at 82 degrees. I figured they were good temps. I am freaking out and don't know what caused this. First time a bird of some sort has died on me and I have no clue what to do... Any ideas on what to do or where to post? Any help would be great....

Sometimes they are born with something wrong internally and nothing you do or don't do will affect the outcome. I would watch the others pretty closely tge next few days to see if they show any symptoms or off behaviors, but unless you send the duckling to the state veterinary lab for a necropsy, you ma never know why that particular duckling passed.

What can I do to make sure the other ducklings won't die the same way? Should we treat the other 4 ducklings with the intestinal disease water stuff? I cleaned out the brooder 100 percent and gave them baths to clean them off.. Just no clue what to do now
