I'm allowed to have them, but we have a neighbor that we know will make it his life's mission to get that changed if he hears crowing. He's a crabby old busy body. Rather than get in that battle, we've kept it to just hens. Until now. I am going to keep at least one Polish roo, and one Silkie roo. I hatched them, I love them, and am ready to fight to keep them.
Sounds like my Cat with his poopy paws and tail! Lol what do you mean poopy butt? Is it getting clogged up cuz I read somewhere on how to fix that but I can't remember where!
Oh what beautiful babies!!!
We only had one with poopy butt, I washed it with Dawn and dried her really well. We had to do it twice, but she was fine after that. Someone told me to use vaseline if it kept happening.
And thank you for the silkie/polish roo info. I am hoping that we don't have an issue with the crabby neighbor. If they are not too horribly loud, maybe Mr. Crabby won't say anything. If he comes over, I am ready to hand him a basket of lovely eggs to see if he can be bribed.
