She is a Black Japanese and Rooster is a BB Red OEGB..... I know, funky mix. Lol
The little yeller you see there looks like the bb red as a chick

Yes, mama and their babies,sooo precious! Thew DH told me to stay outa the coop,because I feel the need to check on them every 20 minutes,Because the hen may abandon her babies if I keep bothering <just watch>them. I say, If she DOES abandon them babies Ill be MORE than happy to take them under my wing!!!!

I love the broody mamas too..this was my Favorelle bantam..she ended up with 7 baibes!
