kinda dark for a rooster. usually a rooster has thinner neck feathers.

he does look pink in the comb! I would guess Roo. my pullets don't get red combs like that, at that age.

Edit: Oops, yes, sorry I was talking about the barred rock!

we are talking about the barred rock? he has a thick comb, but he seems dark for a roo. the pic of the chick above is a americana roo it has a small red comb
