Their first day at the Lazy L.

Figuring out the roosting part.

They got the roosting part down pat! 3 feet from the floor. I have no idea how they got up there.

We are bigger and ready to take on the world!

Outside! We're outside! Hide in a group! I want mommy!

We are teenagers and are invincible!

A baby coon that didn't get to see its next Birthday.

More green we can strip down to the dirt.

All grown up.

I got our first ever chicks yesterday at our local Tractor Supply. They came from Mt. Healthy Hatcheries in OH. I got two Silver Laced Wyandotte, 2 Black Sex Link and 2 Red Sex Link. One of the Red is red and the other one is more blonde. She is hard to see up by the waterer. LOL! She is the same color as the pine shavings. The actual red one tried to fly last night and did stay in the air a few seconds. I will try to post more pictures in a bit. I am so excited and nervous at the same time.

Your coop and run are very impressive! Love the chickens too, they're beautiful!

This is Brownie, my Brown Leghorn chick. She's supposed to be a pullet, and I really hoping that's correct because I just love her. She kind of looks like a baby chipmunk ;-)
