This is Graydee he hatched this morning around 10. Right away he was scooting about and holding up his head. and he is a big chick. When he is stronger he will go in with chicks hatched on Mon. he was a separate batch, not a late hatch. He hatched right on day 21.

My Easter Egger's are one week old today! The chick in the middle (Cindy) has speckled feathers on the tops of her shoulders. Does that indicate she may be a he? I read somewhere here that roo EE have different top feathers than pullets. This one is also the biggest of the three. I may be changing the name to Greg, Peter, or Bobbie....

My rhode island red and white rock are 8 days, the Easter eggs and the austrolorp are 4 days

Hello! My husband got 4 chicks as a birthday gift a couple days ago but I'm taking care of them because he has a broken foot and can't move around right now. I'm just wondering if anyone can genome determine the breed of the chicks.

We were told that the yellow one is a red comet, that we have 2 barred rocks, and one black australorp. I am pretty sure the black one with a white spot on its head is a barred rock but I'm not certain about the other two black chicks. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
