She is, and when she stops laying eggs I'll still keep her, I get bothered by raising a chicken from a chick, and then once she doesn't lay just kill her and eat her...Am I the only one that's slightly bothered by the thought?
That makes all 3 of us!!! I might not love worms as much as my chickens, but walking past a worm on the pavement is like leaving a chicken to dye...It's impossible!! My friends all laugh at me but, in the end, I have the satisfaction of knowing that I made a worm live a little longer....Hopefully!!

I do not think you are the only one bothered by it. Even my DH has said there are ones he is not willing to send to the freezer. (Big tough guy that he is)

That is probably the truest thing I have ever heard.
I am not willing to send any of them anywhere but in my pen with meXD. I am a baby, I will freak out if I ever find out my roosters are aggressive towards me AND the hens, I can deal with me being attacked, but no ones harms my chickens.
