Question about general chick behavior. Have you known of a 4 week old (now older) chick mothering a smaller chick? Would that behavior point to pullet?

I heard a story about that once. The lady left her 5 week chick with the day old ones and came back a few hours later to check on them and found the 5 week old sitting on the day olds. She posted a picture too. It was really cute. If I could find the story I would post the link.

I had 2 chicks hatch once, and got 2 more a few weeks later. the older chicks were much bigger, but were so happy to see more chicks the older little roo laid down to be their height and ate along side of them.
