So one of my black Australorps was desperately trying to dust bathe in the shavings, but she was being stalked by two Speckled Sussex chicks who would meticulously eat every shaving off of her black down every time she even twitched a wing.

And then the seabright had to assist...

can be genetic or caused during hatch. Don't breed that one just in case. There is a forum here for crossed beaks. They'll give you good advice on the special needs if that one

It's a cornish cross not going to live long enough to breed, only another 6 or 7 weeks left to live.
