Can anyone tell me what type of chickens I have? They are about 10 weeks old, about 12 inches tall, solid black (tongue, cones, wattles, ect). They have a teal color to their feathers in the sun.

He/She fell asleep on me!



I believe this is a boy! If not, please explain if I am wrong. He/She will be 8 weeks old tomorrow. Also, I got Him/Her from a local farmer for $1.25. So that being said, what kind of chick is this? Any help or info will be great! Thank you!

Could be a roo, but I've had some young hens looked like that also

This is my newest chick, I just love her coloring, she is a blue frizzle/Cuckoo maran mix.



This is all the chicks the other blue and a black is a Blue isbar/frizzle mix, the back ground is a black wyandotte /frizzle mix.



again the newest one, I think only she will frizzle.

Her name is New Yolk.
