Edit; Thank you for the help!! I found similar situations where chicks just poop like that sometimes, but I will keep an eye on her.

Hii I need some input on my lil chick!
She is about a week old, BUT she is currently being treated for coccidisosis because her fellow 3/4 week chicks are infected (but everyone is doing well thankfully!!)

Here is what she just pooped out, with chick to scale.

I couldn't find anything on Google about poop strings. Is this a thing that happens?

More (unrelated?) info: She was a chick that came in the mail, and she is also the smallest but has never shown signs of being weak or sick. She also had pasty butt for the first day she was here but hasn't gotten it again.

That looks like a worm but I may be wrong. Chickens can get worms too just like dogs.
Oh maybe? That was my first thought, but on closer inspection it really does look like a tube-shaped poop.
I did find a similar thread with similar pics, they mentioned it could be intestinal lining but the problem was never resolved. Something about worms won't affect chicks younger than 6 weeks?

My thought also (worm) yet I've had chicks poo out thread like poo but not that long  Is it "solid" or is it poo?

You said she's being treated coccidiosis because her fellow chicks are infected.
What are you treating with?
How was it diagnosis?
Did the rest come in the mail with her?

Where are you located, is it warm?
What are you feeding?
How is your brooder set up, are they able to move from the heat source?

Hii! I will keep an eye on her and will definitely not rule out worms because it literally looks like a worm! However I found some more threads after posting and because she's so young and active I'm thinking it might have been just weird intestinal shedding?

But I got two batches of chicks. One came about 4 weeks ago, half were turkeys half were chickens. About a week ago the chick in question was also shipped. Same place different batch.

One of the turkeys went from flying around to sleeping all day just overnight. His poop and other turkey poop had blood in it. They're currently on a 5 day treatment of powder amprolium (for the whole flock, chickens and new chicks included.) Now everyone is back to normal. Every chick and turkey is eating, drinking, and flying around. I only caught the turkeys with bloody poop but I read coccidiosis will travel from bird to bird regardless. So this lil chick is on the medicine just because she was exposed to the turkeys.
