Baby chick, sleeping or ill?

Hi, we've just had the first of our incubator eggs hatch last night. They are a few days late and its just the one thats hatched. now the chick is walking a few steps and chirping like mad.. then she just slouches down into a little ball and puts her head off to the side to sleep. Do you think she's just tired from hatching or that there could be a problem? Thanks!

For the first day they do a lot of sleeping. After that they start to spend a little more time eating and pecking around between naps.......

Just like a baby... lots of sleeping. Give it time. Mine hatched this weekend and the first one out must be roo and a bullly

stepping on everyone and just getting in the way. The others are still sleeping a lot. They are about 48 hrs old.

. Just needed a little reassurance, I was questioning whether it would survive or not because this is our first time incubating eggs and they haven't hatched apart from just one and its been like 25 days or so:/. Hope this little guy is okay anyway

They really do just crash when they are tired. It's so funny to see them just slump over. Well, it's kind of scary the first time, but after that it's funny.
