Baby chick with a bad leg

I have a one week old BLRW chick that has been favoring his left leg for the past three days. Yesterday, it started peeping loudly.

He holds the left foot up all the time. I have never seen this in all the baby chicks I have hatched and I have been hatching for many years. I know it must be suffering as much as it peeps. It seems to be eating and drinking ok. What do you think it is? If you have any idea, how do I fix it?

I don't think it is an injury. He hasn't walked normally since he hatched.
