Hi everyone! I am new to the group. I just received 15 baby chicks from Hoover Hatchery. They are perfect!!! But.., one of them had a weird mustard yellow poop with bubbles in it. I had them all vaccinated before I got them and they are on dumor non medicated feed. I have been giving all them dried out oatmeal as a treat since they were a week old. They are now 15 days. I have also given them a little bit of fresh dill weed, basil, and parsley. This little one has had the yellow poop for three days. She is acting fine and I checked the chicken poop guide to see if I could find a matching example... no luck..can someone please see the picture and tell me what is going on?

That’s pee? All I have seen from the others is like a black with a white top.

I don't know for sure, my other guess would be high acid intake, has she had corn?
Hmmm. Only what is in the dumor chicken starter feed. I’m already a helicopter parent. All I have done for 2 weeks is look at chicken bottoms

Chicken pee would be clear, then turn white. I see my birds pee quite a bit.

It could be due to the oats, they do produce gas.

Ok. I will stop with the oats and see if that calms her tummy. I bought some plain yogurt that I was going to try in the morning. Is this a good idea? I’m nervous 😬

Just let her eat her chick feed, & see if it'll make a difference?

How much are you feed ing them, my 6 week old chicks get about a tablespoon a day, ( my surprise rooster get a bit more, were trying to take him.)
