Baby chick with fluid under skin

I have a baby chick who was malpositioned in the egg, I had to help it out.put.. once free the inner parts of the bird that was in the egg was fluid filled/swollen.. 1/2 it's body basically.. head to leg.

It's not mushy chick.. what could it be and can I help it? Will it live?
A picture will surely do some good and our experts here can help you.I hope the chick has survived these 2 days?if so,once you upload the picture I’ll look into it as well.

It has went down significantly. Don't know if a picture would even show anything at this point. The chick had curled toes.. a few hours in bandaid helped it, but it still has some trouble walking because one foot is wonky but not curled. But no apparent splay leg.. it's alive and seems to be doing ok. Eating and drinking some.

I would try more than a few hours of taping the foot. Give it a day.
I do agree that the foot looks deformed which may not be completely fixable, but hopefully you can correct it a little more.
I would also give her 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily for a week. You can dissolve this in a tiny bit of water and syringe drops to her several times a day or crush it up and add it to a little wet feed.
Good luck!

Chicks are usually born with curled toes because of improper incubation temperature, hopefully in my opinion, multivitamin supplement will help.I’ve heard that chickens with curled toes can live a long life even after being born with these abnormalities,so u don’t have to worry about this fluffy-ball much, but that doesn’t mean you are not going to try and help it recover.
Good luck.
