Newly hatched chicks head stuck??

I had to assist a guinea in fully hatching. It was a smooth process but now since the hatch the chick is still stuck in the egg position with its head fully flat against its chest. It seems to be kicking its legs fine but obviously isn't able to stand. I have only had a few hatches but never this.. is it normal? Can I help it?

I would leave it in the incubator overnight or for 12-24 hours. Sometimes those things work themselves out. Assisted hatching has it's downfalls. If you don't help, it might die, and if you do, it might be handicapped. The latter is usually temporary though.
